Second Half Foundation
The Second Half Foundation prides itself on giving back to the community. Co Founders Sean C. Lewis and Nook Logan understand that dedication, resilience, and being responsible for our actions breeds success. The Second Half Foundation is here to lend a helping hand to those who are in need of some outside assistance. Nook and Sean have both experienced negative situations, some outside of their control, some self imposed and understand that people deserve opportunities to be successful in spite of mistakes that have been made.
The Second Half Foundation's primary focus is to provide scholarship opportunities for students around the nation, with a concentration on Greater Houston. The Second Half Foundation also participates in school clothes drives, food and gift programs for the holidays, gang intervention, and starting in the fall of 2010 giving a home to a single parent household.
The Second Half Foundation will be paramount in its pursuit to work with school districts around the country to close the gap that separates students with a challenging past and their ability to move past those challenges in order to have a successful second half. With contributions, community involvement, and dedication to “LEAVE NO CHILD BEHIND”, we will create an environment of success for all.
